It's especially distracting at night BUT the goddamned light ray is still visible even during the day and mars the beautiful scenery of Hyrule 24/7 for me. When I am just journeying around trying to enjoy the landscape now that ray is always blasting overhead nonstop. So it's been a couple of days now since that time but slowly my attention has been more distracted by the ray of light from the Divine Beast.
Ignored this and collected my horse I then went exploring toward's Korok Forest, saving a bunch of times like I normally do until no save files remain from before I activated the Divine Beast. Fun dungeon and final boss battle but afterwards the beast surprised me by moving away from the lake, setting up shop on some nearby hill and immediately blasting a light at Calamity Ganon (instead of waiting for my signal when I was ready to fight Ganon AND THEN zapping him, which is what I assumed would happen). The first Divine Beast I beat was Ruta of the Zora. HOWEVER this brings me up to a problem that may only be affecting me, and my reason for making this thread. Speaking of graphics, just finding each new vista is amazing. Gameplay, music, graphics, are all top notch and I have been happily lost exploring the world. After playing around 15 hours in Zelda: BOTW it is already in my top 10 games of all time.
